Day 1
Egyptian museum / Pyramids
- Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Sharm El-Sheikh, transfer to Sharm Airport, and fly to Cairo.
- Upon arrival, meet your private Egyptologist guide, who will take you to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, where you’ll explore 5,000 years of history through 120,000 artifacts, including the treasures of Yuya and Tuya and the golden mask of King Tutankhamun.
- Enjoy a delicious lunch, then head to the Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the largest pyramid ever built. Explore the pyramids of Chephren and Mycerinus, take a panoramic photo, and admire the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple.
- After your tour, check into your Cairo hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2
Saqqara/ Citadel
- After breakfast, travel to Saqqara, where you’ll visit the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the first pyramid ever built, and explore tombs depicting fascinating scenes of ancient Egyptian daily life.
- After lunch, continue to the Citadel of Saladin, an impressive medieval fortress. Visit the Mohamed Ali Mosque, known as the Alabaster Mosque, and enjoy breathtaking views of Cairo’s skyline.
- Conclude your tour with a transfer to Cairo Airport, fly back to Sharm El-Sheikh, and return to your hotel.
