El-Minya, the most famous city of middle Egypt. It has own Flair. Tell el-Amarna, known in the past as Akhet Aton, it is the capital of akhnaton, situated on the east bank of the Nile. Akhet Aton had a royal road which extended from north to south, on both sides of the city. It was divided into three main districts: the northern City,  the city centre and the southern city, which contains houses of noblemen.

Beni Hassan is a small village in the south of El-Minya, it has remarkable tombs, it contains some of the most impressive tombs of Middle Kingdom. it is a rare chance to see the colorful scenes of the ancient daily life.

Day 1
Beni Hassan / Tel Amarna

Start your tour by pickup from your hotel in Cairo with our well-qualified tour guide to El-Minya. visit the most remarkable tombs of Beni Hassan displaying the wrestling scenes of sportsmen, 4 thousand years ago as well as the panoramic view of the Nile valley from top of the mountain then go to Tel Amarna, take your Light lunch in the  Resthouse and go to visit the tombs of Noblemen during the Amarna era of Akhenaton. stop by the northern palace after that go to your booked local Hotel and sleep the night.

Day 2
Tuna Eljebel

After an early breakfast go to Tuna Eljebel where you see the western Stela of Akhenaton, the tomb of family Petosiris, the tomb and mummy of Isadora and go down the apes and Ibis Catacomb of Serapeum like labyrinth and go back to Cairo.

  • Dress Modestly: When visiting religious sites, cover shoulders and knees. For women, this is especially important
  • Stay Hydrated: Cairo can get very hot, so drink plenty of water and use sunscreen
  • Currency: Carry small denominations of the Egyptian pound for tips and small purchases
  • Food: Be cautious with street food if you have a sensitive stomach. Stick to well-reviewed restaurants if unsure
  • Taxis: Always agree on the fare before getting into a taxi to avoid disputes
  • Respect Local Customs: Ask for permission before photographing people, especially in rural areas
