Begin your Egypt excursion with a hotel pickup from Safaga (pickup from hotels outside the city is available at an extra charge). Journey through the desert, experiencing the raw beauty of nature and glimpses of local life. Upon arrival in Luxor, explore the vast Karnak Temple complex, an architectural masterpiece spanning 80,000 square meters, adorned with towering pylons, colossal statues, and intricate hieroglyphs. In the evening, visit Luxor Temple, beautifully illuminated at night, and walk through the historic Sphinx Avenue, once the site of grand processions. After check-in at your hotel, you have the option to attend the mesmerizing Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple.
The next morning, after breakfast, cross the Nile to the West Bank and step into history at the Valley of the Kings, where legendary pharaohs like Ramesses II, Seti I, and Tutankhamun were laid to rest. Continue to Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple, an architectural marvel carved into the cliffs, followed by a photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon, the last remnants of Amenhotep III’s grand mortuary temple.
