Cairo is the largest city in Africa and the capital of Egypt. The Egyptian Museum in Tahrir square, the jewel of Egyptian museums housing 120 thousand pieces of artifacts and treasures and the most important sightseeing are the pyramids of Giza which are one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. The Pyramid of Djoser is known as the step pyramid, which is considered as the most popular archaeological site in Saqqara.

Luxor and Aswan are worldwide famous cities of heritage:

Luxor has been characterized as the “world’s greatest open air museum”, it has magnificent temples and vibrant residential areas as Karnak and Luxor temples.

Aswan is known as the” land of gold ”as it was like a huge necropolis for noblemen and their treasures for thousands of years, also it has many important sightseeing like komombo and Edfu temples.

Alexandria is the second largest city and largest port in Egypt. Its most important sightseeing is Catacomb of kom Skokafa and Pompey’s pillar.

Day 1
Arrival

Upon arrival to Cairo, meet greet and assist, check in and overnight.

Day 2
Saqqara/Pyramids
 

After Breakfast, start your tour by pickup from your hotel in Cairo to the great pyramids of Giza at the top of Giza Plateau with our private highly experienced and well-qualified tour guide. visit Saqqara, the burial site of most kings and nobilities since the 1st dynasty. The most remarkable complex here is that of the step pyramid of king Zoser, from the third dynasty, designed and constructed by his genius architect Imhotep. As well as a visit to the tomb of Kagemni and the pyramid of king Teti.

After that go to the great pyramids of Giza at the top of Giza Plateau. Explore the most world archaeological site on earth. Cheops, the great pyramid with a chance to go inside, Chephren and Mycerinus, take a panoramic photo with the three pyramids, go to the great sphinx then overnight .

Day 3
Egyptian museum/citadelĀ 

After breakfast, the Egyptian museum in Tahrir square displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art and 120000 genuine artifacts including the collection of grandparents of the young pharaoh Tutankhamun, yuya and thuya, as well as some treasures from the young pharaoh himself before being moved to the grand Egyptian museum among them is the golden mask of king Tutankhamun then take a lunch and go to the citadel of Saladin and overnight.

Day 4
Philae Temple/high dam
 

In the morning fly to Aswan, visit  the high dam with our private highly experienced and professionally qualified tour guide. The High Dam is one of the greatest water projects on earth during the 20th century as the huge dam helping control one of the longest rivers on earth then go to the beautiful island of Goddess Isis with a remarkable temble known as Philae temple then check in Nile cruise and overnight in Aswan.

Day 5
Kom Ombo
  

A free morning or an optional tour to Abu simbel temples then sailing downstream to Kom Ombo, the unique temple of Kom Ombo, known as the double temple, as it was venerated to the two deities, Horus and Sobek. The unique temple offers the surgical tools as well as the calendar of festivals and visit the crocodile temple then overnight in edfu.

Day 6
Edfu Temple
  

In the morning, Visit the temple of Edfu, the best well-preserved temple ever in Egypt of the falcon god Horus, constructed during the Greek era and decorated in roman times. then crossing the Esna lock to overnight in Luxor.

Day 7
Luxor West/East bank

After an early breakfast, check-out then drive to visit the West Bank with our private highly experienced and professionally well-qualified tour guide. The remarkable valley of the kings. The tombs of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties, the famous Pharaohs, Rameses the great, Seti 1st, Tutankhamun, Thotmosis the 3rd, a guided tour to explore the afterlife of the ancient egyptian then go to the renowned temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir Bahari, a unique temple with own flair then a photo stop by the Colossi of Amenophis 3rd known as Memnon colossi.

Then take your lunch and Cross the river to the east bank and visit Karnak precincts which cover 80 thousand square meters (about the area of Chicago's Millennium Park) and is constructed over two thousand years, pylons, ram-headed sphinxes, columns, colossi, chapels, shrines and obelisks. then visit to luxor temple the south palace of God Amun, once had two obelisks in front. Only one is still there while the second one is standing at the place de la Concorde in Paris and head to cairo. check in and overnight.

Day 8
Old Cairo
 

After breakfast go to old Cairo and visit the hanging church, the crypt shelter of the holy family in Abu Serga, the synagogue and oldest mosque in Africa, Amr mosque and after lunch go to al Moez street for an oriental walk with a coffee in oldest bazaar khan el khalili 

Day 9
catacomb/citadel
 

visit the catacomb of kom shokafa, a Greco-roman burial place, then the famous pompey’s pillar, a temple of God serapes, once was rivalling the Soma and the Caesarean. The Citadel of Qeitbey, which was constructed on the site of the ancient lighthouse of Alexandria, take your lunch then visit  the library of Alexandria, once housing an unprecedented collection of manuscripts, codices, and papyrus scrolls to recall the majesty of the ancient library. Then back to Cairo.

Home flight
